Psi Corps offered a number of services:
  • Advertisement-free Mailing List hosting Features include:
    • Full-featured Web-based administration interface
    • Web-based subscription/unsubscription and subscriber self-service
    • MIMEDefang support for stripping images/executables
    • Optional Web-based List Archives (public or private)
    • Administrator control of subscription, moderation, headers, footers, tags and many other attributes
    All Mailing List services include MIMEDefang support for stripping executables/images from list postings (as an anti-virus measure).
  • Advertisement- and Banner-free Web hosting Features include:
    • Apache webserver v2.x with SSL support
    • Update via Secure FTP
    • Name-based virtual hosting
    • Optional scripting support
    • Optional MySQL database back-end (forthcoming)
  • Shell accounts Features include:
    • SSH-secured shell access
    • E-Mail service including anti-virus scanner, and anti-SPAM (MIMEDefang/SpamAssassin)
    • PINE E-Mail and NetNews Client
    • IMAP (via web browser or other client) SSL-secured remote E-Mail access
    • Full NetNews (UseNet) feed
    • Personal website
    • SFTP (Secure FTP) file transfer access
    • Wide choice of supported shells
    • MUD client
    • ProcMail support
    • Virtual E-Mail address translation (to/from other hosted Domain Names)
    • Optional development access
    • Remote sending for SMTP clients
    • SMTP AUTH support for authenticated E-Mail relay (forthcoming)

  • Domain Name hosting/DNS services
    • Features include:
    • Primary or Secondary DNS hosting

While Psi Corps did provide various Internet services for individuals and organizations, Psi Corps was separate from those individuals and organizations. The nature and content of those organization's website(s) and/or mailing list(s) were solely the responsibility of those individuals and organizations.
